Isla Set

A two-piece mesh set built around a painterly print: a long-sleeved shirt that ties at the front, and straight-leg trousers that sit low on the hip and fall clean to the floor. The print is brushed rather than drawn — wide strokes of colour that break across the body and never repeat in the same place twice.

It comes in two colourways. The blue runs from deep marine to burnt orange, the kind of palette you see when the sun drops behind the water. The red is warmer and closer to terracotta, with the same strokes reading as clay instead of sea.

The mesh is fine and semi-sheer throughout, so the set is made to be worn over swimwear rather than instead of it. Both pieces are unlined, weigh almost nothing and dry in minutes.

Polyester mesh, unlined and semi-sheer. Sold as a two-piece set: shirt and trousers. Available in a blue and a red colourway.

Hand wash cold with a mild detergent, or machine wash on a delicate cycle inside a laundry bag. Do not bleach, do not wring and do not tumble dry. Reshape and dry flat in the shade. Iron only on the lowest setting through a cloth, and keep the mesh away from rings, clasps and rough surfaces.

Designed on the Colombian Caribbean coast and produced in small runs.

Worn as a set over a matching bikini it is a complete beach look that carries straight into lunch. Worn apart, the shirt goes over a plain swimsuit or a white tank, and the trousers work with a bralette or a cropped top.

Flat sandals and a straw bag by day; a heeled sandal, gold hoops and the shirt tied high at the waist for the evening.
