Long Lucky Me Necklace

The Long Lucky Me Necklace is an affirmation you wear. A beaded heart in deep blue and yellow with the words picked out in the beadwork itself, hung on a long beaded cord.

It celebrates the beauty of being completely, authentically yourself, shadows and all. Bold, colourful, and made with real intention behind every bead.

It is hand-beaded by women artisans of the Kamentsá community in Putumayo, Colombia, using plastic beads filled with reused plastic bags. The technique is theirs and the work is paid on fair trade terms. Every piece comes out slightly different because every piece is made by hand.

How to wear it

At 40 cm the heart sits on the chest, low enough to read over a plain top. Wear it alone so the beadwork has room, or layer it above the shorter Lucky Me.
