Surreal T-shirt

A white cotton T-shirt with a trompe-l'œil twist: the bikini is printed, not worn. Bahama Mama takes swimsuits from its own Colombian Caribbean collections and prints them across the chest of a clean round-neck tee, so the piece reads as swimwear from a distance and as a T-shirt up close.

Each model carries a different print. Arullo reproduces the black-and-white bikini from the collection. Tropicana brings the blue and burnt-orange star motif that runs through the resort line. Nacar with Pearls is the most worked of the three: the printed black triangle top is hand-finished with real mother-of-pearl buttons, a pink halter cord and a small palm tree charm stitched at the centre.

Soft 100% cotton in a straight, slightly boxy cut — easy to knot at the waist or leave loose over a bikini, with denim, or under a mesh set at night.

Wash cold and inside out with like colours. Do not bleach. Dry flat or on a hanger away from direct sun to protect the print. Iron on the reverse only, never over the print or the buttons.

Designed on the Colombian Caribbean coast and produced in small runs.

Relaxed, slightly boxy cut with a round neck and short sleeves. It falls straight at the hip and holds a knot at the waist well.

Over a bikini it turns a beach day into a lunch outfit. With denim or white linen trousers it reads as a graphic tee in the city. Layered under a mesh set or an open cover-up it becomes the base of a full resort look.

The print sits high on the chest, so it stays visible when the tee is tucked or knotted.
